This bowling establishment is situated on the third floor of Ukraine shopping mall, from which you’ll see a gorgeous nighttime view of the city. Apart from bowling, on Fridays and Saturdays from 22.00 the club offers a disco as well as bar and restaurant facilities (the cuisine is fusion), with prices averaging 100–150 hrv. This can be a good place to hold corporate meetings (for up to 200 people), concerts, and festivals. The club has got all the necessary stuff: multimedia projectors, professional lighting, DVD receivers, satellite DVD, and microphones. If you consider yourself a VIP sort of person (and who doesn’t?), take a peek at the special VIP zone. The club itself is rendered in nice Art Deco style. As for bowling, the venue is open from 11.00 till 6.00 the next morning and offers 10 lanes’ worth of the best Brunswick equipment. On weekends the disco pumps as you bowl. Prices vary from 99 hrv (weekdays from 11.00 to 19.00) to 198 hrv (Fridays and weekends). The average price is 141 hrv. Students who bowl on weekends after 3.00 or on weekdays from 19.00-3.00 will pay 45 hrv per hour on weekdays. They’ll also pay 45 hrv on Sundays after 1.00.

This club, which is open from 11.00 to 2.00, is located in the Karavan megastore. It’s got a restaurant serving European cuisine, 10 lanes, and the best Brunswick gear. If you’re a bowling beginner, the instructors will help you get on your feet so that you’re sending the pins flying, roll after roll. It’s a good place for the whole family too, as the little one can have fun participating in so-called baby-bowling on special lanes. Friday evenings check out the erotic strip-bowling and the disco nights courtesy of radio Hit FM. Prices run from 78 hrv (weekdays from 11.00 till 15.00) to 198 hrv (weekend evenings from 19.00 to 6.00). Weekdays after 19.00 you’ll pay 141 hrv.

Apart from the bowling centre here (which is open from 12.00 till 6.00), Maximum has got a strip club, a casino, a party bar, and a shooting range. The centre itself is designed for a youth crowd – there are no programmes for children. On weekends there are discos and parties featuring professional DJs. The bowling centre has 10 lanes featuring Brunswick equipment. Unlike at other bowling venues, beginners get free lessons. Socks are also free. Every Friday and Saturday the centre organizes tournaments, with winners getting a free cocktail. If you get tired of bowling you can watch some sports on huge flat-screen televisions arrayed along the counter. You can also surf the Internet using the place’s Wi-Fi set-up. Students pay 45 hrv per hour from Monday through Friday, 12.00-19.00, while schoolchildren pay 39 hrv during the same period. Midday on the weekend you pay 129 hrv, with prices topping out at 198 hrv on weekend nights. If you’re a real bowling maniac you can buy monthly tickets for 300-900 hrv. There’s also a bowling school for children that costs 300- 1500 hrv per month, with the price including meals twice a day.

One of the first bowling clubs in Kyiv. Among its peculiarities are facilities as good as anything back West, a winter garden (one of Kyiv’s rare such spots), and a real fireplace. Aside from bowling, Strike offers billiards and a banquet hall featuring European cuisine that can hold up to 500 persons and there are also a wine bar and a sushi bar. On Sundays from 13.00 to 15.00 the club offers Brilliant Strike, a family bowling programme for kids hosted by Captain Jack Sparrow. The venue has 12 lanes and offers such special services as lane polishing (30 hrv). Students pay 48 hrv per hour per lane, Monday through Friday before 20.00. In general prices vary from 72 hrv (from 11.00 to 17.00 on weekdays) to 216 hrv (Fridays and weekends from 17.00 till 22.00).

The first bowling centre in the Kyiv satellite town of Brovary, this establishment is open from 10.00 till the last client leaves. The club also has a carting centre where you can take a ride and pretend you’re a real racer. If you want to organise a conference or a birthday party the two on-site conference halls will be useful. The club also has a bowling school, if you need an academic grounding in the game, so to speak. A full 24 lanes are available for your rolling pleasure. If you’re a beginner a well-trained instructor will help you (1 hrv per minute). If you want your lane polished, you’ll pay 20 hrv for the service. On weekends the club organises family bowling tournaments. The club offers discounts for students who pay 45 hrv on weekdays from 10.00 till 19.00 and 69 hrv on weekends from 10.00 till 13.00. Weekdays from 19.00 till 22.00 you’ll pay 120-138 hrv. The highest you’ll pay? Some 198 hrv on weekends after 19.00.

Open from 10.00 till 6.00, this club is situated in the Ultramarine entertainment centre, where you’ll find a movie theatre, a restaurant, a fastfood cafe, a bar, three Russian billiards tables, two American billiards tables, gambling machines, and a children’s room featuring clowns. If you get hungry after banging a couple strikes you can have some sushi in the sushi bar. The club has two rooms of six and 12 lanes each and even organises pro bowling tournaments. Personal lane polishing is 20 hrv while socks cost 4 hrv. On weekdays starting at 19.00 the average price is 123 hrv per hour. If want to play from 10.00 till 15.00 you’ll pay 78 hrv. Prices top out at 213 hrv on Fridays and weekends after 19.00. Students pay 50 hrv per hour on weekdays and 75 hrv on Fridays from 10.00 till 18.00.

The biggest bowling chain in Ukraine offers bowling, billiards, and disco under one roof. On Fridays and Wednesdays at 21.00 you can dance while you bowl. The club’s venues have 24, 18, and 10 lanes respectively. On Mondays you’ll pay 54 hrv per hour from 15.00 till 18.00. If you’ve got an ISIC card, you’ll receive a 20 percent discount - but only Monday through Friday. On Friday nights and on the weekend the club charges between 132–198 hrv depending on the time. If you prefer to sleep in the morning, come to Vitamin after midnight and abuse some pins for 96 hrv. There’s also a bar where you can have a nice drink – a White Russian, perhaps? There is a Vitamin 2 at 13b Hlushkova, and a Vitamin 3 at 12 Malinovskoho.
